The 85th Tokyo International Gift Show

Tokyo International Gift Show (TIGF) is the largest trade show in Japan. The 85th TIGF has been started since January 2018 and will be continuing until early 2nd week of the February 2018. The show scale is - Exhibition Area: 123,000 ㎡, Exhibitors: more than 5,000 and Visitors: more than 400,000. Furthermore, the show quality is very much standard and no exclusions to exhibit or visit.

With full subsidy on the booth stall from Trade and Export Promotion Centre, four prominent exhibitors with the long background of manufacturing and involved in export business i.e. 1. Metal Craft 2. Silver Jewelry, 3.  Hand Made Nepali Paper and, 4. Pashmina are exhibiting in the 85th TIGF show from 7-9 February, 2018. To facilitate the Nepalese exhibitors during the exhibition, the government delegation comprising an Executive Director of the Trade and Export Promotion Center (TEPC) Mr. Sarad Bickram Rana, and Under Secretary from the Ministry of Commerce Mr. Tirtha Raj Khanal, will be leaving for Tokyo and will be remained until the last days of the TIGF. The government delegation will co-ordinate with the Nepalese Embassy especially HE the Ambassador and other officials, business communities, chambers, TIGF organizer etc. to meet the objective of the Nepalese participation to enhance export trade of Nepalese products to Japan in the Future.

With the request of TEPC, the Nepalese Embassy in Tokyo have extended an invitation to diplomatic missions in Tokyo, trade related organizations, NRN office bearers, business people etc. to visit Nepali stalls in International Gift Fair. To discuss on the preparation of the Nepalese exhibitors for the exhibition, and to meet the expectation of the exhibitors from the Embassy, the Embassy has organized a meeting on 6th of February at the Embassy premises. To boost the confidence of the Nepalese exhibitors, HE the ambassador has a plan to visit Nepalese stalls on 7th February 2018 at 2:30 PM.
